  1. Smile. It’s that simple if it is sincere.
  2. Compliment. And make it genuine. Make it your goal to find something special or positive about each person you meet and tell them.
  3. Remember. Try to remember something about each person you meet and then next time you see them, ask about it.  And with today’s technology, it is easier than ever before to make note of that “something” to help you remember.
  4. Write a personal thank-you note.  It may be “old school” but in our techno world, it is more impactful than ever before.
  5. Be on time. Better yet, be a few minutes early.
