One of the most powerful marketing tools for any medical practice is right under your nose — actually at your front desk, in and out of your exam rooms, and on your phones:  Your staff.
They probably spend as much if not more time with your patients than your physicians.

Engage them. 
Involve your team in diagnosing practice problems and developing solutions. Share practice news and solicit their input on marketing opportunities. Keep them informed of any marketing strategies or tactics you are implementing.  

Encourage them.
Show your appreciation when a staff member goes the extra mile. Provide them with ongoing education and training opportunities to strengthen their work. The more they know about their field and your practice, the better they will feel about working for you. And the more engaged and satisfied they feel, the more this will carry over to their interactions with your patients. Not to mention they will more than likely promote your practice to their own families, friends, neighbors and social networks.

Empower them.
They are on the front lines. You need them to be problem-solvers, to be attuned to potential conflicts, to answer questions, to communicate proactively, and to identify opportunities to improve and deliver care that will dazzle your patients.

Your staff guide your patients along the healthcare journey of your practice with multiple “touchpoints” along the way. Help them to radiate your brand, and they can be your greatest marketers.
